Hydro cleaning eliminates all types of buildup. Evenly coated and layered material or heavy deposits left by the driver are removed in minimal time.
Both sides of the helical fins are simultaneously scoured by the water blasting action.
Intermittently a thin cement residue can remain on heavily worn surfaces. This material is too thin to effectively chip and too costly to repeat jetting. Polymer or fiber content in the mix seems to exacerbate this condition. An effective method of removing residual material of this type is to load a ton of moist aggregate and aggressively rotate the drum for several minutes. Over time this will provide a clean metal surface which inhibits accelerated buildup that can sometimes occur.
