Mixer Drum Cleaning (No Entry)

Drums Cleaned Safer, Faster, & impeccably Clean

Maintenance cleaning of light to mod-erate concrete buildup, ½ to 6 yards, is effectively removed from the drums interior using a specialized high press-ure water jet tool. The jetting process causing no damage to the drum or other interior surfaces and reduces many of the hazards that are ass-ociated with traditional pneumatic chip-ping methods such as damage to the drum from chisels or liability resulting from injury to personnel such as falling concrete. In most cases cleaning is accomplished without personnel req-uired to enter the drum.

The cleaning tool is positioned along the centerline of the drum as the mixer rotates in charge mode; a high pressure water jet stream is manipulated to cause jet contact over the entire internal surface of the drum including front and rear facets of the rotating fins. The high pressure stream is very aggressive and causes any concrete attached to these surfaces to be broken and dislodged. After cleaning the drum is placed in discharge mode to remove the resulting debris.
