Cutting Pier Stems

HyDrill’s submerged stem cutting systems deliver faster completions than do traditional cutting methods without placing personnel in harms way. Floating delivery systems quickly deploy cutting tools to any specified elevation. Standard rigging allows depths of 50 feet to be obtained without modification. Systems hinge open for installation and vary in geometry to accommodate a variety of shaft sizes and shapes. Debris in a 36 inch perimeter at the mud line should be cleared prior to cutting and external surfaces should be clear of obstructions. Cuts below the mud line will require adequate excavation to your specified elevation. Lifting capacity is the only limiting factor to consider when applying this cost effective removal process.

HyDrill tools are lift able and occupy a small footprint. They are easily deployed on floating platforms, soil, or roadside. Abrasive waterjet “cold cutting” tech-nology is used to surgically sever heavily reinforced concrete. This cutting process is minimally invasive and can be used when minimal disruption to the mud is preferable. Inquiries concerning pricing, availability, or specific capabilities and project viability should be directed to HyDrill applications.
